In our previous post, we gave you ways to celebrate Valentine's Day if you're single. And we thought, well why not celebrate the same way if you have someone you love too?
Here's a quick recap of the ways that we mention to celebrate single, but can do as well with a partner:
1. Get a massage/manicure/pedicure.
You can do this with your man as well. Who said manicures weren't for men too? After all, the word "man" is in manicure. :)
2. Go on a vacation.
Take your love with you on a cruise or road trip. Either way you vacay, you'll have a chance to switch up the routine and share new experiences together.
3. Go on a meditation retreat.
Sharing a spiritual awakening together will bring your intimacy to another level like never before.
4. Have a Netflix night.
Simplicity can mean much more than celebrating in an extravagant way. You can order pizza, watch a movie together and cuddle, while avoiding spending lots of money and long lines that'll be everywhere.
5. Go to a comedy show.
Laughter is the best medicine. Share some laughs with your partner. To add to the fun, sit in the front row and you'll have a chance to be part of the show, bringing more laughter and excitement into your experience.
Here are some other unconventional ways to celebrate for Valentine's Day:
6. Dress like twins for the day.
Anywhere you go, profess your love to each other by dressing the same. It is a fun way to show off the one you love most!
7. Go on a hike together.
Sweat together in more ways than one! Get your workout on and recharge together by taking a hike. Studies show that being in nature helps reduce stress and anxiety.
8. Experience new adventures together: skydiving, shark cage diving, rollercoaster riding, etc.
Be courageous and scream together! Research shows that bringing adventure and novelty into your relationship can bring excitement and reignite the spark that made you fall in love in the first place.
9. Wait till after Valentine's Day to celebrate.
Chocolates will be 75%-90% off everywhere! Can't get any better than that. :)
No matter what it is that you end up doing, we hope that you enjoy your Valentine's Day to the fullest!
It's a great way to remind ourselves that love is worth celebrating and it doesn't have to be one day a year that we celebrate it. Treating every day like it's Valentine's Day will bring us more satisfaction and happiness in our lives. Happy Day of Love!
